New Self Inspection Requirements from Dept. of Ag

If you plan to take livestock to the auction, as of August 6, 2016, a new state law will require the following: ALL LIVESTOCK MUST have inspection papers. If you do not have a self-inspection book, you may apply for one at: agriculture.az.gov/self-inspectionapplication. spection@azda.gov. If you need a home/school inspection, call dispatch at 623-445-0281.
Checks from the auctions will be issued to the name on the inspection papers. *** There are several changes to the self inspection program that affect more than just goats. Please go to agriculture.az.gov/self-inspectionprogram to learn more and see if any of the new fees, regulations,
